End of Support for the VisualSVN Server 5.3.x version family

We are announcing that versions 5.3.x of VisualSVN Server will reach their End of Support on November 30, 2025. After that date, the 5.3.x version family of VisualSVN Server will no longer receive maintenance updates and we will no longer provide technical assistance for that version family. Users who are running VisualSVN Server 5.3.x or older versions should plan an upgrade to the latest VisualSVN Server 5.4.x builds.

Meanwhile, VisualSVN Server continues to be actively developed. We continue to provide updates and support for VisualSVN Server 5.4.x, which is the most recent version family. What is more, we are working on further improvements and new features that are going to be introduced in the next updates.

Upgrade and compatibility concerns

The upgrade procedure is straightforward and in the majority of cases only requires downloading and running the installer of the latest version of VisualSVN Server. However, it is strongly recommended that you read the article KB233: Upgrading to VisualSVN Server 5.4 before beginning the upgrade.
