Request VisualSVN License

VisualSVN team offers free licenses for active open source non-for-profit projects. We're happy to support open source developers but we definitely have no time to deal with badly filled requests.

Please read the following instructions carefully if you want to apply for a free Open Source Developer license. Your request will be automatically rejected if it will not satisfy to all criteria listed below and you will not provide an appropriate justification in the Additional information field.

To apply for an Open Source Developer license, please make sure that you qualify according to all following requirements:

  • You are an active project member.
  • Your project has public Subversion repository.
  • Your project is active and you have recent commits in the repository.
  • You release updated builds on a regular basis.


An Open Source Developer license has the following terms and conditions:
  • Licensed to all project members;
  • Eligible projects must be both open-source and non-commercial;
  • Eligible projects must have a public home page

Please note that you need to prove somehow that you are an active member of your project. The best way is to provide us with e-mail that we can easily find on your project's official pages. For example, you can leave us your SourceForge's account e-mail. Please fill out the Additional information field if you can't leave us such kind of e-mail. Otherwise your request will be automatically rejected.
