Starting with version 4.1, VisualSVN Server is also available under a special Enterprise Multinode license, that is suggested for users of the Multisite Repository Replication (VDFS) feature.
Why use Enterprise Multinode license?
Enterprise Multinode license aims to simplify the multisite VisualSVN Server deployment and maintenance processes. The license allows an unlimited number of VDFS repositories and may be installed on a set of machines constituting a single VDFS replication cluster. That is, you get an option to purchase a single license covering each server instance within your distributed system.
How much does a VisualSVN Server Enterprise Multinode license cost?
The price for VisualSVN Server Enterprise license depends on the maximum numbers of users. Although Enterprise Multinode license is perpetual, it has an associated maintenance period. Future upgrades to newer VisualSVN Server versions are free within a 12-months maintenance period after initial purchase, or upon the license renewal. The prices are given below:

How is the number of users calculated?
The number of users is calculated independently on each separate node. For instance, the Enterprise Multinode license of size 50 can cover multiple nodes with no more than 50 users on each separate node.

April 25, 2023. All newly purchased Enterprise Multinode licenses now allow an unlimited number of distributed VDFS repositories.
Existing licenses purchased before this date are still going to have a limit on the number of VDFS repositories. Please consider renewing your license to make the number of distributed VDFS repositories unlimited.
