VisualSVN Server 1.0 Release Notes
Last couple of years we've got a lot of feedback from VisualSVN's customers regarding complexity of installing Subversion server on Windows. And today we are happy to announce release of VisualSVN Server 1.0.
VisualSVN Server is a standard Windows Installer package that contains everything necessary to install, configure and manage Subversion server on Windows platform. It includes the latest stable releases of Subversion, Apache plus a management console to perform most common Subversion administration tasks such as repository creation and access rights management.
VisualSVN Server is based on pure Subversion and can be used with any standard Subversion client. VisualSVN and VisualSVN Server are independent products but of course can be used together with each other.
And last, but not least - VisualSVN Server is a completely free software!
